Christina Albini, a Windsor elementary school teacher who had a sexual relationship with a former student, has pleaded guilty to sexual interference — touching the body of a person under the age of 16 for a sexual purpose.The suspended Christ the King Catholic Elementary School teacher entered the plea during a brief appearance in court Monday.Elementary school teacher Christina Marie Albini befriended a former student when he was 13. Albini, 43, pleaded guilty Monday to sexual interference.Other charges, including sexual assault, luring, possessing and accessing child pornography and making sexually explicit material available to a child under the age of 16 are expected to be withdrawn at her sentencing hearing next month.Albini still had a valid teaching licence until two weeks ago.Her licence was suspended April 19 for non-payment of fees.He was sentenced in 2009 to four years in a federal penitentiary – two years for crimes against each of his victims.
On that day, the boy’s mother had discovered the cellphone.
Looking through it, the boy’s mom found sexually explicit messages sent through What’s App and Kik.
The woman called police and Albini was arrested the same day, Costaris said. Police got records from the business which showed Albini would have been in attendance that day.
A posting on the College's website states Albini's bail conditions bar her from communicating with boys under the age of 16, visiting public parks, schools and swimming areas and from being in a position of trust with people 16 or younger, meaning she is currently unable to teach.
Once Albini's case is referred to the College Disciplinary Committee her hearing will be "imminent," Jameison added.
