1 hr 20 min Follow the movie on Facebook Plot Summary Don (Stanley Tucci) and Janna (Patricia Clarkson) have developed a routine: They have their first date, every night. The couple's marriage has been hanging by a thread ever since the death of their daughter. One of them places a personal ad; they arrange to meet in a nightclub; they talk, as different people. Not that hes letting that hold him backfor the most part, Danny refuses to let his visual impairment get in the way of anything.Hes one of the most popular guys in town, and is even an ace at basketball.I felt it was a pity that the characters and their relationships weren't more fully fleshed out as that would have improved the film without adding too much to its fairly short runtime..Some hints at this occur in the deleted scenes also included on this DVD.
There is a slightly pink hue to the skintones, which when combined with the soft picture and the 1.78:1 ratio lent this transfer a 'telemovie' look.
The picture and audio quality is reasonable without being great.
Blind Dating is a hilarious comedy about Danny (Chris Pine), an intelligent, confident, handsome young man who also happens to be blind.
As one would expect for a romantic comedy/drama the audio is spread mostly across the front speakers with very little in way of effects in the rear speakers.
There is the occasional front-to-rear effect, but nothing much.
